06/06/10 - Wicked Bowling – The Goldens invited us to an evening of bowling, gutterballs, and fun times on a Sunday night - how could we resist? DeAnna, Josh, and the Kups joined us for a couple lanes of amusement (mostly from our cumulative lack of bowling skill) and excitement. We bowled a complete set of ten frames and then hid the scores so nobody would ever find them.

On the following Tuesday it was a trip to Music Hall at Fair Park in Dallas to see Wicked. It is a musical set during the time frame of the Wizard of Oz; however, the twist is realizing events are not as they might have seemed. It is definitely a worthwhile musical to see if you get the chance - I won't spoil it for you by telling you how it ends.

05/30/10 - Concerts in the Gardens – Our annual trip to Concerts in the Gardens was fantastic this year! It always seems we get to bring new and familiar faces to the event each year and this year was certainly no different. Joe, Glenda, and Nick joined us this year for an evening of Big Band music, pizza, salad (not sure that was actually consumed), one more bottle of wine than what we really needed, and lots of goodies.

Thanks Glenda for bringing the fans - they were a splendid idea! It was wonderful to simply relax, listen to the music, and catch up with everyone. There was a slight bit of dancing, some fireworks at the end, and generally just a really awesome evening.
