NOVEMBER 2005

11/11/05 - Go Brahmas! – I can't believe we have lived in Fort Worth all of this time and had not attended a Brahmas game.  The Brahmas are the local Hockey team and their home games are placed at the Fort Worth convention center.  You can't beat their colors - purple and black!  They didn't topple their opponents this evening, but we did have a blast meeting up with friends for pizza and the game.

11/12/05 - Poker?  I Barely Know Her! – Poker is begging to become a monthly staple at our household.  Its a lot of fun and it really gives both Susan and I the opportunity to unwind.  We really had a hodgepodge group this evening including some of Susan's co-workers (Hi Bob, Deb, and Abi!), a friend of mine I used to work with (Hi Dayne!), some friends with whom we had a wonderful wine tasting/house warming party at recently (Hi Anita, Dave, Randal, and Jerri), and some Geocaching buddies (Hi Christina and date!).  I felt it was important to mention Anita and Dave's housewarming party because somewhere along the line I completely forgot the mention it in our blog.  They have a really wonderful home and it was a lot of fun meeting their friends and family!  Dayne was the big winner in the first game, but I managed to oust everyone in the second event.

11/13/05 - My Big Horizontally Challenged Greek Lunch – It was that time of the year again - the annual Fort Worth Greek Festival.  We didn't do any dancing this year, but we did indulge in a variety of traditional Greek foods and desserts.   As usual, I thought the spanakopita was the best, but everything was delicious.  Christina joined us again this year and we got to catch up on several recent events.

11/23/05 - New Domain Name – I would like to give lots of thanks (and even on the day before Thanksgiving)  to my brother Kent for setting up some web space on his server at work.  I had reached the limits of our space at SWBell, and Kent was eager to provide a solution.  In addition, he was able give me access to a domain name he acquired a year or so ago.  The old link will continue to work, but it is set up to automatically redirect to our new location:

It is much easier to remember and it is also a lot more fun than the old one :).
